Christy McCormick is a London based freelance illustrator who specialises in portraits and figurative work. As a graduate from the London College of Fashion, Christy is highly trained in illustration and demonstrates an ability to capture her subject with expressive intensity.
Christy has worked for Alexander McQueen where she helped develop prints for both menswear and womenswear. She has been featured in a variety of publications such as, Twenthy6Magazine, Dash Magazine, The Ethical Fashion Initiative, Eluxe Magazine, Voix Meets Mode, Pigeon and Peacocks, amongst others.
Christy’s most recent personal project “Wake Up’ – an Amazonian inspired nightwear collection raising awareness of increasing deforestation and climate change issues. This was followed by a series of illustrated tribal portraits titled ‘Natural Fashion’, celebrating the beauty of nature.
